What is a Chakra?

Chakra refers to the spiritual energy center of the body along the spine, through to the neck and crown of the head. Each chakra is typically associated to a different part of our bodies, emotions, and spiritual energy.

All of the chakras are linked and in tune with one another. If all of our chakras are open, then the energy flows freely between them — and our bodies, mind, and spirit are in balance. However,  when one of our chakras is blocked, our bodies, mind, and spirit become unbalanced.

How to know if your Chakras are not balanced?

You might just be feeling ‘off’, unwell, or you may just feel like nothing is going your way lately.  For example – feeling ungrounded or pains in your feet or legs could well be linked to your root chakra. Essential oils can have amazing power on the body, mind and soul to achieve homeostasis, and this can be adapted to support your chakras.

Root – focuses on basic trust. You may be experiencing: Sluggishness, worried about finances, stuck and unhappy with your body.

Sacral – focuses on sexuality and creativity. You may be feeling:  emotionally detached, loss of sex drive, hurt and confused.

Crown – focuses on spirituality. You may be experiencing: Loneliness, lack of connection, and headaches.
